The first chapter was mind blowing. Love the way mr. dickey keep the story hot and on going from the first book. The hotel room scene was wonderful. I can't wait to read book three.
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat (hypothetically speaking). There were a few steamy sexual encounters that kept me feeling hot. I can't wait to read the third installment to find out what happens next.
I read Sleeping with Strangers and was looking forward to the continuation of Gideon's adventure. I did recycle it so there was some benefit to the environment. What I found was nothing but useless, unnecessary and inappropriate smut. I toss the book out before even finishing it. This could have been a great sequel and Dickey is a talented writer. Someone should have given this man better advice.Really disappointed.
I enjoyed SWS the first part of the trilogy and rushed to get this one. I think the sex parts could have been MUCH edited. SWS had some healthy sex scences but nothing as drawn out as this book. Sure, its steamy but after it goes on for THREE chapters it gets very old. If I wanted that much sex I'd read a Harlequin. And it really is about three chapters. The first (seems like) 100 page are devoted to a threesome. More plot, less sex.
I kept wondering where was the man with the broken nose. then he appears and HE has a long drawn out sex scence. Its 400 pages with about 200 pages of raunchy sex. My suggestion, read first 20 pages (to figure out who was at the door at the end of SWS) and then read the last 100 pages.
This is another exciting book from acclaimed author Eric Jerome Dickey. In order to survive, he must unearth secrets that may destroy him. Gideon is back, and this time instead of being the hunter, he's the hunted. Not sure who to trust, Gideon is on his own. This book, like all of Dickey's, is a must read. Get it today.
